I’ve been having a lot of fun this year taking shots like this:

I’ve been working third shift for the early part of the year, and also have been working on a photo a day project so far this year. I’m at 100% so far which has been fun, but challenging. Anyway, since I drive in to work at night, and I end up spending a bit of time here and there in the car playing with the camera, I’ve been able to experiment with different things. Its been lots of fun.

Here’s another one that I like.

I got up early again today and shot sunrise.  I went to Veteran’s Park which is right in downtown Milwaukee, but has plent of chances for good scenery/shots.  I didn’t really shoot much I liked, but did get to bring Indy out and play around with her, which makes it a good day either way.  Here’s one image I did like.

Just trying the new gallery out to see how it’ll work. Hopefully well.

I wanted to share 2 more of the pics I finished from Saturday’s sunrise at Grant Park. They turned out great, I’m really happy with them.

Here is my entry:

I woke up early today to go and shoot some pictures over at Grant Park. This is the park where I proposed to Kris in January of last year, and it’s always fun heading there to walk around and check stuff out. I walked south today which I normally don’t do, and saw some neat stuff that I haven’t seen in the past, and spent quite a bit of time taking shots of sunrise as it came up.

It was also weird to not take Indy with me today. Usually she’s with me whenever I’m outside, but I left her at home for today.

Hey everybody. I’m getting now to the point where I’ve got this set up and can give good updates here and there. Its been a learning process which is cool but also I’m enjoying it as I can actually find time to get stuff up here.

I’m expecting that I’ll change a bunch of the site stuff as I go on, I want to get one of my pictures up in the top box first off, but I’ll need to pick which one obviously and edit it up to fit.
