I’m back from Canada
It was a successful fishing trip this year. Lots of fun, lots of fishing, lots of drinking, the usual.
This year it was myself, my brother Paul, another Paul, Nick, and Ryan. We went to Whiskey Jack Lodge in Ontario, on Sturgeon Lake. The lake is about 60 miles long from one end to the other, so there was plenty of space to fish. We had pretty cool weather, with ice still on the lake the first day we got there, but the ice cleared up for the most part by Sunday in time for us to fish our hearts out. The fishing hilight of the trip was at Squaw Lake, where we estimated that our group of 5 caught somewhere in the range of 200 walleye and probably 10 northern. It was very fun.
