So its been pretty much forever since I updated
I’ve been shooting lots of different stuff this summer. Most recently I shot at Ojibwe Forests Rally which is part of the Rally America series. Here’s 2 favorites:

North Point - another sunrise
I went out today and shot sunrise at North Point. This area has recently been featured in the newspaper, is a ‘hotspot’ of sorts for the local flickr groups, and in general is fairly photogenic. I have shot here a few times, and although its fun I sometimes feel like its not enough of an adventure for me since you can just get out of the car, walk 10 feet, and shoot pictures. Here’s the first of what I shot today:

Another Grant Park Sunrise
I hadn’t gotten up early lately to shoot a sunrise, and I’ve been really jealous of the crew at NSOP always heading out on the east coast, so I decided I’d shoot one around me. I got up about 4:30, headed to Grant Park, shot, and was back in bed by 7. Here’s a couple favs.
This next one I’ve called “Littering Dirtbags”. Click the picture to go to its flickr page which has a bit more description. Needless to say I was bummed that people don’t pick up after themselves.

Wisconsin Rustic Roads Patch
I did some exploring yesterday on the motorcycle around SE Wisconsin. Nothing spectacular photo wise. I did however get about 5 pictures with Rustic Road signs (the numbered ones), the deal is if you get pictures with 10 of them and send them to the state, they will give you a patch that says “Wisconsin Rustic Road Motorcycle Tour” or something like that. Not anything I really need but neat anyway. Here’s a typical shot.

Got some Business Cards
Here’s the new cards - designed them online and although I’m not happy with the purplish color on the back, they were insanely cheap ($8 for 1000) so I can’t complain.

I love ice caves.
Kris and I went up to the Apostle Island’s National Lakeshore last weekend and went to the ice caves near Myer’s Beach. It was awesome.
for more click any of these and browse my flickr page. I shot a TON.

2 degrees, found a phone, and shot this
I went out to shoot on Saturday morning. It was cold, about 2 degrees at the lakefront, and a little wind, but it was good to get out and shoot. I also found somebody’s cell phone out there, but I haven’t gotten it to turn on yet, I’ll probably bring it to a sprint store since its worthless to me anyway.
